Family Centered Consultation

• The family consultant provides professional services to clients, families and the organization in order to empower and respect the central role of the family as the constant in the child's life
• Provides professional services to program managers, supervisors, teams and other collaborating agencies
• Provides direct services and support to families through the entire treatment cycle
• Provides education of families, staff, volunteers and the community on principles and applications of family-centered care
• Provides leadership (advocacy) in the development of practices, programs and policies that support the integration of family-centered care principles throughout the organization
• Responsible for the effective operations of the Family Centered Activities
